I was telling Heather the other day how fascinated my brother and I were with her when she was born. We thought she was the cutest most adorable thing we'd ever seen. We would spend countless hours trying to imagine what she'd look like when she grew up. We were sure she'd be a movie star or something.
I have one memory in particular of us in the Oldsmobile, which we called the Almostbile, on the way to Grammie's house. Heather was about two, and was in her car seat between Todd and I in the back seat, and we were so engaged in a conversation about how cute Heather was and telling each other what we thought she'd look like at our ages that we forgot to ask "ARE WE THERE YET?" even once.

It's so hard to believe this was like 15 years ago. This was the same day Heather put lipstick on the dogs, and we took a picture of Todd choking the demonseed. Also I believe this was the day I almost set the house on fire making bacon. Or the time I drunk braided demonseed's hair? Or the time Heather and Todd did their amazing rendition of Solitary Guy? I can't remember, I was drunk.

Sometimes I miss Hollywood. Ahh, good times, good times.
